We are dividing the neighborhood by school districts. We have this Oakhurst page which is defined by the Oakhurst elementary school district. It encompasses the Oakhurst business district. We also have a Winnona Park neighborhood which is east of Oakhurst and it will be defined by the Winnona Park Elementary School district.

Oakhurst Links and Attractions
Oakhurst is a Decatur neighborhood that is enjoying a great revival. The homes in the neighborhood were built originally in the 1930’s and has many of the historic Craftsman, Victorian and Tudor style homes that you see in many of Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods. There are new homes being built on the infill lots, and a lot of renovation of the older homes.
The business district has restaurants, bars, galleries, and speciality shops. There is a great series of music events throughout the summer that bring locals out with picnics to listen to music on the lawn in front of The Solarium. The Solarium at Historic Scottish Rite is a great facility that hosts art shows, events, meetings and weddings.
Oakhurst has an active community association! The Oakhurst real estate market is burning up, partly due to the excellent schools, and partly due to the dynamic neighborhood. It is important to find a realtor who can notify you every time a new listing comes on the market and help you get there first. Most properties that are priced correctly sell within a day or two. Frequently there are multiple offers. Yet there are many homes for sale in Oakhurst every year. Look at the recent sales tab on the search pages and you will see what I mean!
