Most of the homes are large two-three story traditionals that were built between 1904 and 1930. Many are grand homes with large gracious rooms and elegant appointments. They were built in this rolling tree lined area. Ansley Park is on the National Historic Register. There is a private golf course in the neighborhood, the Ansley Golf Club. Many of the houses enjoy a beautiful view of the fairways. Ansley is really quite hilly which leads to some excellent views. There are also quite a few parks throughout the neighborhood.
